How do I find out if Cygwin is installed and where

How do I find out if Cygwin is installed and where

I would like to call bash.exe from a .net application, but I do not know
where the user installed Cygwin, though I can assume it exists somewhere.
It turns out not everyone puts it in c:/cygwin
